Staff enjoyed painting pencil name plates for a healthy U activity!

A huge thank you to Windsor Heights Hyvee. They won 10,000 Box Tops in a General Mills competition and donated them to Windsor Elementary (That is $1,000) Families remember to clip those box tops when you have them!

The last day of classes before Thanksgiving break included a big mix-up at Windsor Elementary School – on purpose. Mix It Up at Lunch Day is an international campaign under the auspices of an organization called Teaching Tolerance that encourages students to cross social boundaries. 2018-19 marks the centennial year for Windsor Elementary School, and that calls for some special celebration – and decoration! Current students are painting a mural on a retaining wall that borders a parking lot at the school. It’s so awesome, the TV news has already been by to check us out!
