Pennies for Patients Presented Check

All classrooms raised funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Iowa’s annual campaign – Pennies For Patients.  Students were encouraged to bring in spare change to help fund a solution to blood cancers.   This year, students raised a whopping total of $1500!  We’re very proud of the generosity of our students and families in the way they show support for others in need.  In the picture, Mr. Nich0ls, Evelyn, and Jimmy are presenting a check to Ms. Ashlyn White (LLS of Iowa).  Ms. Bolte’s class raised the most earning them a pasta lunch from the Olive Garden.  Ms. Smith’s class came is second earning a pizza party.  Ms. Carter’s class came in 3rd earning a doughnut party.
