Congratulations to Ms. Imlau!
Congratulations to Windsor art teacher, Ms. Elaine Imlau, for being selected as the Merle Hay Neighborhood Association’s Public Employee of the Year. Here’s an excerpt from their letter to her.
Hope you are doing well. Each year, MHNA and other neighborhood associations are able to nominate a neighborhood volunteer, public employee, and business to be honored at Des Moines Neighbors’ annual banquet, known as the Alice Rodine and Bob Mickle Neighborhood Recognition Dinner. This year’s recognition dinner is at 6;30 p.m. on Thursday, April 16 at the World Food Prize building.
The MHNA board voted unanimously to recognize you as our public employee of the year to show our appreciation for all of the great work you did on last fall’s tree planting project!
We are very proud of Ms. Imlau and all the good things she does for Windsor. Way to go, Ms Imlau!
