Birthdays and Books

In art class as grades 1st-5th learned about the artist, Dale Chihuly, blown glass
sculptor from Seattle, WA, they learned that his birthday was in September.
Fourth graders from Mrs. Kebede’s home room sent him a birthday card along with
some personal notes. For the card they posed with plastic bottles that will be
used in a Chihuly style chandelier. In return the class received beautiful
books of Chihuly’s work. Second photo shows them with their books in art class
with Ms. Imlau.
