Transition Activities for Incoming 6th graders
Spring and Summer 2016
April 12th – April 15th
Merrill staff will visit Hanawalt, Hubbell, Perkins and Windsor to talk about life at Merrill and answer questions.
April 25th & 26th 9:30-10:30am
Fifth graders will visit Merrill during the school day to meet the staff, take tours and become familiar with the building.
May 3rd 6:00-7:00pm
Fifth grade students and parents are invited to attend an informational meeting at Merrill.
August 3rd SUCCESS 4 SIXTH GRADE
A one day camp at Merrill that provides team building and transition activities to help students become acclimated to the building, staff and students. Recommended for all students to attend.
July 25th – August 12th Pathways to Success
A three week day camp to help transition students that may need extra time and assistance in transitioning to Merrill. Limited spots available.
